August 2024 Employees of the Month
It takes hard work and dedication to keep AC Transit running smoothly. Each month, the District commends the service of employees who contribute directly to this effort by awarding “Employee of the Month” honors from our Supervision, Maintenance and Transportation divisions. Our candidates are nominated by supervisors at our Central Maintenance Facility and at each of AC Transit’s four divisions in Emeryville, Richmond, East Oakland and Hayward. Honorees from the Central Maintenance Facility and each division are selected by the respective Superintendent. Awarded employees receive a gift certificate to a local restaurant.

SUPERVISION/CENTRAL MAINTENANCE FACILITY
Rubin L.
Transportation Supervisor
Rubin has a positive and upbeat attitude that does not go unnoticed. He has a great rapport with operators and other District staff.
Brian K.
Parts Clerk
Brian provides critical support for projects above and beyond his regular duties. His dedication helped a vendor complete an installation of equipment under a very tight timeline, which required him to stay after hours and help load a trailer to get the materials to the divisions.

Operator Sheila is a team player that always maintains a positive attitude and a smile. She often participates in AC Transit events like the Bus Rodeos and other special District events. We are thankful for her professionalism and work performance.
