AC TRANSIT RESTORES EVENING BUS SERVICE HOURS, EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, JUNE 4
Alameda County officials have lifted the temporary emergency curfew order.
OAKLAND, Calif. – The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) has received notice from Alameda County Sheriff, Gregory Ahern, that the county’s June 1, 2020 emergency curfew order is now rescinded.
Following careful consideration, AC Transit is restoring the full operating hours of all evening bus lines effective immediately. Evening and overnight operating hours were previously suspended to comply with both Alameda and Contra Costa counties’ emergency curfew orders.
Although a Contra Costa County curfew remains in effect countywide, AC Transit will offer our bus services, beyond curfew hours, to the communities we serve in West Contra Costa County.
