California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) has indicated that the Oakland Coliseum COVID-19 vaccination site opens to the public on February 16, 2021, and service hours are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Our two new fare-free shuttle lines will be ready to provide service for people eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The service will be fare-free, but riders must show proof of vaccination appointment upon boarding. Bus service directly into the Coliseum will make the vaccination site more accessible and provide easier access for AC Transit riders. All pick up and drop off locations will be fully accessible and ADA-compliant.

Two shuttle bus routes will serve the Coliseum Vaccination Site:

Vaccine Shuttle to and from Eastmont Transit Center
Temporary stop on 73rd Ave. next to the Eastmont Transit Center (near the McDonald’s drive-thru): Connections with lines 40, 45, 57, 73, 98, and NL
73rd Ave. at International Blvd. (Stop ID 56999: to Eastmont Transit Center and 58882: to Coliseum Vaccination Site): Connection with Tempo Line 1T
Temporary stop on San Leandro St. at Coliseum BART (near the pedestrian bridge): Connections with lines 45, 46L, 73, 90, and 98
Vaccine Shuttle to and from Coliseum BART
Temporary stop on San Leandro St. at Coliseum BART (near the pedestrian bridge): Connections with lines 45, 46L, 73, 90, and 98

BART COLISEUM

Operates every 15 minutes between Coliseum BART and the Coliseum Vaccination Site with connections to bus lines 45, 46L, 73, 90, and 98. This allows riders with mobility issues direct access without having to make the long walk from Coliseum BART or nearby bus stops.

EASTMONT BART COLISEUM

Operates every 20 minutes between Eastmont Transit Center and Coliseum BART with connections to bus lines 1T, 40, 45, 46L, 57, 73, 90, 98, and NL before going to the Vaccination Site. This allows riders in East Oakland neighborhoods direct access to the vaccine.

Because of the change in the Coliseum Vaccination Site hours by Cal OES, both shuttles will operate seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Due to capacity issues related to COVID-19, social distancing measures will be enforced—limiting bus capacity to 10 riders on board at a time.
