Join Us to Save Public Transit

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in sharply declining ridership and emergency funding to support our essential service remains in doubt. As a result, public transportation faces an existential threat. On Tuesday, December 15, AC Transit and public transit agencies in the Bay Area and in the nation are coming together to call on Congress and the Administration to provide at least $32 billion in emergency transit funding. These funds are needed to ensure that AC Transit and other providers can continue to provide service and recover from the economic fallout of the pandemic.

Our industry is facing a dire financial crisis, and emergency funding has never been more urgent. We urge you to join us and help save this essential service in our communities:
