Line 78 Pilot Ends

Line 78, pilot bus line service to Alameda's Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal, has been discontinued following two years of study. The pilot service experienced low ridership and challenges aligning with the ferry schedule. Line 78 will cease to operate effective August 6, 2023.

For alternative routes serving the area, consider Lines 51A, 96 and O. For San Francisco, take Line O or connect to BART on Line 51A. For West Alameda, take Line 96 at Webster St. Line 96 stops at W Atlantic Ave & Orion St, which is a 10-minute walk from the Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Ferry Terminal.
