AC Transit Service Changes Effective Sunday, June 16
To prepare for the summer months, AC Transit will be implementing service changes on Sunday, June 16. The following is a summary of the changes for the summer.
Highlights of changes:
- Lines 600–699, and trips on other routes that provide extra service to schools, are suspended for the summer.
- Stop changes for All Nighter lines in Downtown Oakland due to construction along 14th St.
- Schedule adjustments for Early Bird lines 701, 702, and 706. Early Bird service is operated on behalf of BART and replace BART service.
- Schedule changes on Line 74 to better match the Richmond Ferry schedule.
Changes effective Sunday, June 16:

701, 702, and 706 | Trips that arrive in San Francisco at 5 am on lines 701 and 702 are eliminated. Minor schedule adjustment on the second daily Line 706 trip. Early Bird service is operated on behalf of BART and replace BART service. |
800, 802, 805, 840, and 851 | Bus stop changes at 14th St. and Broadway to facilitate transfers between the All Nighter lines and to accommodate anticipated service disruptions along 14th St. due to construction. |
Other | Trips that operate school days only are suspended for the summer. These are on lines 39, 51A, 57, 72M, 76, 93, 95, 97, and 600 through 699. Minor schedule changes are made on lines 1T, 7, 14, 33, 40, 86, and F. |
“Minor schedule changes” are those that move the times of bus trips earlier or later by a few minutes.
New schedules and line maps are available at actransit.org. All lines have printable timetables available online, and pocket timetables are available on board buses for local bus lines and Transbay bus lines F, NL, O, and 800.
